Thu 15 Oct · MXP → Milan

1. Land at Malpensa, MXP, 01:00. Allow 45–75 min for passport control and bags.
2. Find Airport Bus Express / Autostradale by 02:15. T1: level −1 opposite the Sheraton. T2: outside arrivals. Follow current stop signs.
3. 02:30 T1 / 02:40 T2 → Centrale 03:40. Arrival on the Via Sammartini / Piazza IV Novembre side. Bus tickets and stops · Timetable PDF.
4. Taxi to Via Gioacchino Murat 78: 10–15 min, €15–25 per car. Use the taxi rank or call +39 02 8585.

Budget: €35–55 for two, including €20–30 for the bus.

Missed the bus? Next published T1 departure: 05:00 with Airport Bus Express or 04:50 with Air Pullman. A direct licensed airport taxi to Milan is €114 per car, about 45–60 min. Confirm the fixed fare before leaving.

Check-in: get overnight entry instructions. The Milan reservation must cover the night of 14–15 October.

Fri 16 Oct · Milan → Omegna

1. ~11:10: leave Via Murat 78. Walk to Centrale, 40–45 min with bags. Be inside by 11:55. A taxi adds €15–25.
2. 12:15 → 12:54: RV 2024 towards Torino Porta Nuova. Get off at Novara.
3. 13:45 → 14:43: R 11428 towards Domodossola. Get off at Omegna. Change at Novara: 51 min.

Budget: €24–36 for two. Check and buy trains.

Later option, 14:15 → 16:18: RV 2028 to Novara 14:54, then R 11432 at 15:15. Change: 21 min. Arrival is flexible; 14:00 is not a deadline.

The Novara route avoids Arona–Domodossola replacement buses on 16–18 October.

Mon 19 Oct · Omegna → Florence

1. By 13:15: reach Omegna station. Get lunch before boarding.
2. 13:37 → 14:40: R 11427 to Novara.
3. 15:05 → 15:45: RV 2029 to Milano Centrale. Change at Novara: 25 min.
4. 16:40 → 18:35: Italo 9951 to Firenze Santa Maria Novella. Change at Centrale: 55 min, no transfer across Milan.
5. ~19:00: apartment arrival. Walk from the station, 20–30 min.

Budget: €84–176 for two. Regional trains €24–36 + high-speed €60–140. Regional tickets · Italo tickets · Omegna departures.

Connection risk: separate regional and Italo tickets do not automatically give you another high-speed seat after a delay. Check ticket change rules. Avoid the 16:10 Italo option, which leaves only 25 min at Centrale.

The published Omegna timetable has no 10:00–11:00 departure. This plan leaves in the afternoon.

Thu 22 Oct · Florence → Rome

1. ~10:15: leave the apartment. Reach Firenze S.M.N. by 10:45.
2. 11:14 → 12:49: Frecciarossa 9583 to Roma Termini.
3. Metro A towards Battistini, off at Cornelia. Allow 20–25 min on the train, plus waiting and station access.
4. Walk to Via Giuseppe de Camillis 23, 10–15 min. Apartment arrival ~13:40.

Budget: €53–123 for two. Train €50–120 + metro €3. BIT tickets cost €1.50 each, valid for 100 min and one metro journey.

If your train arrives at Tiburtina: Metro B towards Laurentina to Termini, then Metro A towards Battistini to Cornelia. Stay inside the paid area when changing.

Sun 25 Oct · Rome → FCO

Book the taxi for 03:00 CET, after the clock change, UTC+1. At 03:00 CEST, clocks return to 02:00 CET. Keep your phone on automatic time.

1. Sat 24 Oct: reconfirm pickup, fare, dispatch contact and departure terminal. Pack and save boarding passes.
2. 03:00 CET: pickup at Via Giuseppe de Camillis 23. Be downstairs a few minutes early.
3. ~03:35–03:50: arrive at the FCO departure terminal. Move pickup earlier if the airline requires three hours before departure.
4. 06:00 CET: flight departure.

Budget: €60–80 per car. Aurelio is outside the central Rome €55 fixed-fare area. The licensed-taxi cap for a direct trip from inside the GRA to FCO is €80 including supplements. Private transfers have separate quotes.

• Milan: reservation for the night of 14–15 October, overnight entry and Friday checkout.
• Omegna: entry, bag drop and Monday checkout at 31 Via Privata Villa Ada. For race support, confirm permitted assistance points and road access before arranging a Pella transfer; do not rely on an Omegna boat.
• 16 October: choose the 12:15 or 14:15 route and check dated trains.
• 19 October: regional connections and Italo seat.
• 22 October: high-speed ticket to Roma Termini.
• 25 October: 03:00 CET taxi, fare and dispatch contact.

• MXP → Milan: €35–55.
• Milan → Omegna: €24–36, walking to Centrale.
• Omegna → Florence: €84–176.
• Florence → Rome: €53–123, including metro.
• Rome → FCO: €60–80 per car.

Total: €256–470. Excludes flights, accommodation and sightseeing transport. Add €15–25 for a Friday taxi to Centrale. A direct €114 MXP taxi replaces the €35–55 arrival transfer. Late high-speed bookings may cost more.
